Flying Drones: Safety First

 

Flying drones is great fun! However, it can also be potentially dangerous. That's why commercial unmanned aircraft pilots are REQUIRED to pass the Federal Aviation Administration's Airman Knowledge test. I'm proud to say that I passed this test with flying colors and I follow all requirements, not only those set by the FAA, but those required exclusively for Pennsylvania.

There are a number of areas within the U.S. that have restricted airspace. As an FAA Certified Remote Pilot, I can quickly obtain approval to fly in many of the locations that are prohibited to recreational drone pilots.
